On September 28, 2020, the initiators and organizers of the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Cherkasy Regional State Administration and the Administration of the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic – representatives of the International Diplomatic Mission: President Oleksandr Volkov, Vice President Angela Antonova, Head of the Department for International Affairs Yevhen Yanko in the field of infrastructure and urban planning and Oleksiy Botnarenko, Adviser to the President – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Cherkasy Regional State Administration was represented by: Deputy Head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Roman Karmannik and Director of the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Vasyl Stetsenko.
The subject of the above agreement is the implementation and promotion of mutual international cooperation with an emphasis on the development of Cherkasy region and Zlín Region, which will be based on the principles of mutual benefit. The main areas for cooperation are: economics and business support, research, technology, education, culture. The development of cooperation in other areas is also envisaged.
