Mr. Ali Abbas, Director of the Department for Cooperation with the Middle East, proposed the candidacy of his deputy, Mr. Fadel, to the President of the International Diplomatic Mission, Alexander Volkov.
During the meeting, the main areas of cooperation with the Middle East region were discussed: the development of trade and economic ties, the organization of international sports competitions, support for the Ukrainian diaspora, etc.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is making adjustments to the activities of public diplomats. “Warming up the economy after quarantine is one of the main tasks of the government and the state this year,” said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. That is why the International Diplomatic Mission, thanks to the zealous and effective public activities of the members of the Organization, makes every effort to help Ukraine in such difficult times.
