MEMORANDUM WITH THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF UKRAINE

On June 1, 2020, a tripartite Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the International Diplomatic Mission, Reggie Base Ukraine Charitable Foundation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic made its adjustments, and this event passed without celebration. However, a wide range of issues that directly affect the citizens of Ukraine will now be resolved with the direct participation of signatories – representatives of communities.

The purpose of this Memorandum is to consolidate society to build a majestic Ukraine and to ensure security and order, the well-being of the people and the prosperity of our country. Recognizing the urgent need to preserve the lives and health of citizens who defended the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine, participated directly in the anti-terrorist operation and the Joint Forces operation, international peacekeeping and security operations, guided by the need for maximum possible combination and use of the efforts of the state and charitable sectors for effective and efficient formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population of Ukraine, strengthening the moral and ethical values ​​of society, taking into account the priorities of state policy in the field of social protection of war veterans (hereinafter – “Patients”) , in particular, to provide them with psychological rehabilitation, sanatorium treatment, technical and other means of rehabilitation, taking into account the desire of the Parties to ensure cooperation in this area, wanting to deepen partnerships and expand cooperation, International Diplomatic Mission, Charitable Foundation “Reggie Base Uk Raina ”and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine agreed on cooperation, the main directions of which are:

– Organization of providing patients with a range of medical and rehabilitation services in medical, rehabilitation, sanatoriums of the Czech Republic, as well as the countries of the European Union;

– Exchange of publicly available data and information on the purpose of the Memorandum;

 – Organization and holding of joint events in accordance with the purpose of the Memorandum;

– Creation of new and support of existing projects and programs implemented within the framework of cooperation;

– Advisory, scientific-methodical and practical mutual assistance in accordance with the subject of this Memorandum;

– Creating conditions for the effective integration of combatants into the social life of the community;

– Promoting awareness of the role of public organizations in society, raising the level of legal awareness of the public about public activities, promoting the provisions of the Laws of Ukraine “On Public Organizations” and “On Volunteering”, other regulations governing public activities in Ukraine.
