On March 2, 2020, the Director of the Department of Science and Education in the Republic of Poland, Mr. Maksym Antonov, gave a presentation of the International Diplomatic Mission of Public Diplomacy for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Modern Diplomacy at the University of Warsaw.
Ms. Dorota Heidrich, a lecturer in International Intergovernmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, was present at the presentation.

Dr. Dorota Heydrich is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science (now the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies), as well as postgraduate studies in developing countries at the Institute of Regional and Global Studies at the University of Warsaw. Doctor of Political Science. Since October 1, 2016, Ms. Dorota has been the Deputy Director for Didactics of the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw. Her research interests focus on forced migration (refugees and IDPs), broad development cooperation, transitional justice and interaction with the past, and international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations.

The presentation aroused great interest of both the teacher – Dr. Dorota Heydrich, and future diplomats. After all, public diplomacy is an important component of the state’s foreign policy, aimed at explaining its goals and values to the general public, creating a positive image of the country and promoting its interests in the international arena, and improving relations between nations. It is public diplomacy that expands the possibilities of international influence of the country and personally of each citizen, it gradually enters the structure of state bodies and becomes one of the important tools of the country.
Public diplomacy has already achieved brilliant success and has become an important complement to official diplomacy, and is demonstrating strong viability in the international diplomatic arena.
And our Organization is making every effort to make a significant contribution to building trust between countries and peoples, developing multifaceted ties between them.
